A solid foundation is what everything else is built on.

A client’s home inspector discovered that this home’s foundation pillars were not constructed in the most stable way. We were hired to fix this problem so the new owners would have peace of mind purchasing and enjoying the home for a lifetime to come.

Prior to selling your home, we can correct most items that your home inspector finds. Allowing you to obtain the most amount for your property as well as obtain the cleanest buyer offers.

Hidden Washer & Dryer

As modern washer & dryer units have gotten larger, especially with popular front loaders the original intended space for this are often not deep enough. Many people have simply removed the doors, or covered the space with a shower curtain and drapery. This client wanted a more elegant solution and kept their home feeling more like a well thought out, designed, and functional space.

We extended the drywall around the washer & dryer units and then added simple accordion doors. Simple. Functional. Quick and super clean.

Bath Update

It’s easy to ‘live’ with many things, especially bathrooms as we do not spend most of our time within them, but our client had enough and finally said, “if we don’t get this done now, we will never get around to do it,” and hired us to re-imagine their bath. How did we do? What do you think?

Here are some of the in-progress photos below.

Water Heater Strapping

Proper water heater tank strapping is not only just a good idea in Northern California, but essential for your or your tenant's safety. METIS Real Estate hired us to properly strap this water tank for a home they were in the process of selling. After obtaining supplies it only took about half an hour to complete. There should be no excuses to have an unstrapped or poorly strapped water heater.

New Pathway + Additional Parking Space

Another one of METIS Real Estate's new home buyers wanted to make some home improvements. The two biggest items were to create a pathway to their yard, the original yard was just edge to edge grass which got messy when wet. They also wanted to fill in a garden patch in their driveway so they could park both cars on it.

Here is the before and during pictures of the pathway pictured above.

Re-masoned Mailbox Post

IMG_0867.JPG

This homeowner spent a lot of time and money building the perfect entry to their home and was tired of the cinderblock wall and mailbox post. It looked like an eyesore when compared to their re-done driveway, as a result he gave us a call and we were able to transform his wall/mailbox in a few days.

Re-attached gutter system on a 32yr old house

IMG_0857.JPG

Gutter systems are incredibly important and it is important to check your gutters from time to time to ensure they are clean, and they are functional. Due to the heavy downpours, we have experienced lately this homeowner realized that a section of their gutter was coming off the roof line. This is not only not functional, but being that this is a 2-story house, this was also a liability.

Our team arrived and was able to re-attach the gutter as well as check and test the entire section within hours.

Roof Repair on an Evergreen House

IMG_0855.JPG

Our client had called us because their bathroom floods every time there is a heavy downpour. After a quick inspection, we determined that the flashing on their roof jack was deteriorating and required necessary inspection. We were able to source the replacement roof jack and flashing the very same day and made the necessary repair. In addition to the roof jack and flashing repair, we also had to cut out and replace the dry-wall in the bathroom ceiling as it was wet and damaged. After replacing the damaged drywall we textured and paint matched the repair.
